In celebration of Sarah and Joseph Belknap’s exhibition currently on view at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Chicago, The Franklin is proud to present PLANETOIDS.

In this installation of new work the Belknap’s present objects that engage the terrestrial human body and its various relationships to other minor celestial bodies.
Have you ever seen the moon so close you could eat it? Telescope Moon viewing will be available opening night.

Indoors:

The Perch notebooks are the handcrafted results of using donated and salvaged excess materials as an opportunity to teach bookmaking at no cost to anyone. The proceeds made from these notebooks directly support The Perch’s mission to provide a creative platform for social exchange.
Books will be available for purchase at $30 each (contain 80 blank pages). Credit cards and cash, as well as donations.
Custom orders are $40 and books will be available in the first few weeks of the New Year.
