THE COLLECTION will host a public unveiling celebration honoring Agha’s two-part interactive installation, Shimmering Mirage (Red) and Descent into Light, as well as the program’s upcoming rotating exhibition Architectural Matters, curated by DePaul Art Museum Director Julie Rodrigues Widholm and featuring artwork by three Chicago-based female artists: Susy Giles, Mie Kongo and Yvette Mayorga. The event is open to the public from 7 – 10 p.m. and will include live entertainment, free activations, food and drink from Rosemont restaurants and the opportunity to mingle with the evening’s featured artists. Food and drink wristbands are available for $10, and the first 100 wristband purchasers will receive a custom art-branded notebook.
