Join filmmaker Kevin Jerome Everson and historian Claudrena N. Harold for a screening of their acclaimed Black Fire project, a series of galvanizing films that explore the history of Black life at the University of Virginia while reflecting the experiences of Black students and faculty across the United States.

All CATE programs are free for SAIC students. Unless otherwise noted, SAIC student tickets are released five days prior to showtime. Tickets must be picked up in person from the Gene Siskel Film Center box office. A student ID is required.
