Jan 31st 2025

We are so excited to host the closing reception for Chris Sifri’s solo exhibition “De-Assimilate”, a collection of pieces done over the past year that have contributed to the reconnection and reclamation of the artist’s Palestinian and Lebanese roots.

Doors will open at 7pm to the gallery upstairs as well as to a makers market downstairs featuring local artist selling crafts and artworks to raise funds for a Palestinian family in Gaza.

At 8pm we will hear an artist talk from Chris about their work, and then hear from two poets sharing a short reading with us. 3 musicians will fill the gallery with music for the rest of the night, until the doors close at 10pm.

The whole night is a fundraiser for mutual aid for families in Gaza, so please purchase a ticket and/or buy from the vendors if you are able, as all funds will go towards this cause. If that is not possible for you right now, we would still love to have you, and we have free tickets avaliable.

Other Details:

We will have desserts, water, and wine available by donation during the night.

This space has a wheelchair lift from the street into both levels of the building.

We will have an air purifier running in the gallery and have masks available at the door, but will not force all visitors to wear masks.

With any accessibility questions, please email caseyvstelstudio@gmail.com, with at least 24 hours lead time to receive a response.
