Chicago Sculpture International: Elemental Impact

Elemental Impact takes interest in the parts that make up the whole, and how a single element can impact the world at large. Much like a single choice in material or form can change an entire piece, each of the sculptural works in this collective by 34 artists, change and impact the whole through their proximity.
Bold material choices and a unique presence are what unite the works in this exhibition. They balance the ability to stand on their own while also engaging with the work and environment around them in a way that fundamentally changes the experience of the space. Stories are woven through their proximal relationship, changing slightly each way you approach and move through the space; delighting in the ambiguity of what is fundamental, and what is interpreted.
This exhibition is curated by K.R. Fowler and is in partnership with Chicago Sculpture International.
