Homecoming transforms the typical American family home setting and ideals into a space that activates healing, understanding, hope, and community. This transformation is created with a collection of artworks documenting Black people’s experiences navigating the justice system. Through an artistic and critical exploration of the culture and lifestyles of incarcerated people, we call for the re-imagining of a world that cultivates healing, restorative justice, and humanity.
