On the occasion of Brendan Fernandes: The Living Mask DPAM will host a panel to discuss issues surrounding the collection and display of African objects in Western art museums. Panelists include Kevin D. Dumouchelle, PhD, Curator, National Museum of African Art, Smithsonian Institution; and Kimberli Gant, PhD, McKinnon Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Chrysler Museum of Art.
