Join us Friday, July 20th from 6-9 pm for the culminating exhibition of Tracie Hayes’s month-long residency at ADDS DONNA, titled “Reserve/Reservoir.” Hayes presents her findings from Humboldt Park concerning ecological field methods, the breaking down of natural-cultural dichotomies, and the countering of ecologist-as-colonialist. She has been considering Alexander von Humboldt, Humboldt Park’s namesake, and the history of exploration and ecological speculation throughout her process.
