Burning Bowl 2018: Re-Imagining Tomorrow: Serving Our Communities Future
@ Morgan Park United Methodist Church
11030 S Longwood Dr, Chicago, IL 60643
Opening Saturday, January 13th, from 1PM - 4PM
Burning Bowl is a longstanding Affinity tradition that involves purging the previous year’s challenges and negativity, writing down affirmations, goals, and focus areas for the current year, words of inspiration, special performances, and fellowship. The event is also a great place to learn about Affinity Community Services’ accomplishments, direction for the new year, and upcoming events.
We are excited to announce that our keynote speaker will be Charlene Carruthers, the founding national director of the Black Youth Project 100 (BYP100).
We are also excited that the DRUM DIVAS are back! We can hear the drumming already.
Lunch will start promptly at 1:00! Come early if you want to eat with us!
