Sideshow Gallery is pleased to host Santos Illustration for a Pop-Up Art Show! Santos is a self taught artist who has been illustrating design for the heavier side of the music industry for almost 20 years. His work runs the gamut of influences from the likes of Gustave Doré and Pushead to Jhonen Vasquez and John Kricfalusi. Some of the bands that he’s worked for include Neurosis, Sleep, Torche, High On Fire, Mutoid Man, Kylesa, Lamb Of God, Kvelertak, and Yob.
Santos will he showing original drawings, prints and limited edition merch.
Opening reception will be Friday December 1st from 7-11pm, with works on display through the weekend. DJs Omar Gutierrez and Stavros Giannopoulos will provide the tunes, spinning vinyl throughout the night, and beer from event sponsors Revolution Brewing will be a’plenty!
