An exhibition of artwork from the CreatiVets/SAIC 2017 summer cohort, created directly from their shared experiences in the wars of Iraq and Afghanistan.

In July 2017, CreatiVets partnered with the School of the Art Institute of Chicago to offer a course for veterans to explore the fundamentals of various media, examine them in the context of their ideas, and use these resources to express their experiences of conflict.
CreatiVets is a nonprofit organization that provides disabled veterans with opportunities to address the psychological and emotional needs that arise from combat-related trauma through the visual and performing arts.
