The Body’s Role in Thinking, Performing and Referencing Conference

Opening Friday, October 20th, from 9AM - 5:30PM
This conference is the culmination of The Body’s Role in Thinking, Performing, and Referencing research project. Each session will include a presentation of the findings of a study from the project, followed by a formal comment and discussion. The conference will conclude with a keynote address by Herbert Clark, professor emeritus in the Department of Psychology at Stanford University, on “Depiction in Communication.” Co-sponsored by the Center for Gesture, Sign, and Language at the University of Chicago.
This event will be held at the Logan Center Penthouse.
