Everyone Needs Something To Hold On To presents a hybrid environment that blurs the line between art (original, singular) and design (commodity, multiple), retail space and the gallery. Sculptures by Jack Schneider (BFA 2014) draw from product design tropes, such as ergonomic impression and are presented alongside images that suggest a specific functionality while retaining an abstracted purpose.
